Academic Advising

Advising

Advising is a collaborative relationship between a student and their academic adviser to develop meaningful goals that are consistent with the personal interests, values, and abilities of the advisee.

An Advisor Can Help You:

  • Make a plan to complete degree and general education requirements
  • Register for classes for the next semester
  • Navigate your college experience and connect to resources
  • Discuss grades and academic standing
  • Develop goals and an implementation plan
