First Generation Initiative (FGI) Scholars are the first generation in their family to pursue a four-year degree. Programs like FGI and the FGI Scholarship can help alleviate the financial burden experienced by students, allowing them to focus on their education. This program is made possible by support and donations from generous benefactors. FGI does a lot of programming for personal, academic, and professional growth. Academic supports such as tutoring, peer learning assistance, and advising are offered, as well as accommodations for those who need them. Moreover, there are many opportunities to participate in fun activities!
